Andrea N. Mahoney

Andrea N. Mahoney is a partner at Olsen & Mahoney, LLP, who specializes in estate and trust litigation; probate; and commercial, business and contract litigation. She began her practice focusing on Elder Law issues. While in law school, Ms. Mahoney was the only student member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. Her studies emphasized issues concerning the elderly, estate planning and tax matters, and estate and trust litigation. After law school, Ms. Mahoney became employed with a law firm focusing on these issues. Ms. Mahoney then gained experience practicing complex commercial litigation for several years. She has successfully tried and arbitrated numerous cases and has successfully argued five cases to the Colorado Court of Appeals. Ms. Mahoney's extensive commercial litigation experience, coupled with her knowledge of the Colorado Rules of Civil Procedure and the law, have greatly enhanced her ability to litigate in this very specialized area of estate and trust litigation. Since joining the firm, Ms. Mahoney has successfully litigated and mediated complex, contested estate and trust matters, in addition to maintaining a practice of commercial, business and contract litigation. Ms. Mahoney was named as a Colorado Super Lawyer - Rising Star in 2009.
